Not only is Twilight killing the classic idea of the Vampire (THEY DON’T HAVE FANGS!?!??), but it’s also warping the minds of teenage girls (and some boys) on what the idea of “love” is.

From what I have gathered watching the trailer, let’s look at Twilight’s plot:

Girl likes guy.

Guy likes girl.

Guy is a vampire.

And by “like”, we mean wants her blood.

But then he really does like her.

They can’t kiss because HE WILL LOSE CONTROL AND KILL HER.

So he tries to be nice/smart and says no kissing.

She flips her sh*t and believes she can’t live or be happy without a guy.

He still says no.

She moves onto next guy to make old guy jealous? (Don’t worry, the new guy is a werewolf)

Then hours of shirtless dudes, pale skin and more sexual tension than a co-ed slumber party.

Twilight’s Message: 1. Girls can’t be happy/live without a boyfriend. 2. Guys can’t control their boners. 3. Death and Sex are the same?(Abstinence only education)

People, that’s not healthy.

PS. Why does my “Twilight Message” sound just like my Catholic school’s sex ed class?
